We were home I had the radio on and all at once thee host said "one of the towers has been hit by a plane" I turned on the t.v. and never turned it off for 4 days , I finally said to my husband on the 4th. day lets get out of the house I can't watch any more of this, so we went out for the day(he is retired) and it felt strange to see the world was still the same.
The worst part of 9-11 was I heard a jet and it was real low as I looked out the window the plane flew right by are house and that was the one that crashed in Penn.I will never for get that feeling of knowing I saw that plane right be for it crashed.

At work in downtown Toronto, just going into a meeting when a co-worker arrived and told me a plane had hit one of the World Trade Centers - from then on we watched the tv in horror as the second plane hit, thousands of people were walking up the street going home, we had to stay it was incredibly scary.

It was my day off from my coffee house (in a small suburb of Buffalo, NY)...I was driving to the cafe to pick up some morning coffee when I heard on the radio that the Twin Towers had been hit. I did not realize it was terrorists until I got back home and turned on CNN...by then the 2nd tower had just been hit. I never cried so much in my life :-(

By this time they started making the subways work further uptown, and i was getting ready to go a bar on 70th street with my freind instead of stayiing home alone at my house further uptown staring at the tv, as i had been doing, scince i woke up that day turned on the tv to make sure it it was primary day, and watched the whole thing from shortly after plane one hit.

My wife and I were together just north of Detroit. We were at home when the news started live images I remember getting glued to the screen. We later went to get breakfast aprox 10AM we were watching and listening to everyones thoughts and emotions. We later went to my wife's parents house to be together and discuss.

That day is very vivid from start to finish!

I was in school in the 10th grade. We watched the news most of the day. I live in a military town and the post was closed. Nobody in and nobody out.
