I am Male and wonder....if I turned into a woman, would I be a lesbian?

Well there is much theory out there, and available on the internet regarding sexuality and gender. Many consider both fluid, so you aren't naturally going to become of a particualr sexuality if you 'become' a woman, some people consider such to be immobile.

Transsexuals often find their preferences change over time, so perhaps this would be the best guidline for you in relation to your answer? That you may find that your sexuality would gravitate to some other level, perhaps.

Discussing such theoretical issuse has been going on for longer than I've been alive and looks set to continue for long after I've gone.

Judging from your question you are presently heterosexual and like women. If you should choose to change your gender, and would prefer to remain heterosexual then you would gravitate toward men. However, if you still would prefer women then you would be classified lesbian. It's simply a matter of choice and how you feel most comfortable in your chosen gender role.

not necessary to be a lesbian. when yor gender changes. you will change biologically to a woman. then you will start to like men as all woman. some exceptions will be there still mostly people like opposite gender.that is the fundamental of nature and matter.

If you were a woman that was attracted to other woman, you might be considered a lesbian. But, if you like guys now and were a woman that liked guys, then you would be heterosexual. Or, you might like both regardless of whether you are a man or a woman, then you would be bisexual - but I think you all ready knew all of that.

I guess so.... not if you turned gay as a man and went out with a man, then in your appearence you wouldn't be gay, but you would be gay if you looked like a woman and went out with a woman... this is confusing. What kind of person would date a transexual anyway?????

Eww if I transformed into a man and dated a girl, I would still see myself as a girl and I would be a lesbian.
