Everytime I think about Sept. 11th, I remember sitting straight up in my bed with a breaking news alert. I wasn't in school cause I'd slept late. And I couldn't contact anyone because the phone company's recording said all circuits were busy. I couldn't help thinking my sister was in the WTC. (But later I found out she wasn't) And I remember hearing my brother yelling that "Somebody had f**ked up now." I also was scared out of my mind. A little pissed at Bush. I believe he knew beforehand. He could've stopped it

in 2001, it was a tragedy. Now it has been comercialized to a point well beyond stupidity. with all of the movies being made and songs being written about 9/11 its beginning to seem like no one even cares about it; just about how much money they can make off the topic. at first songs like "angry american" by Toby Kieth and "where were you" by Alan Jackson actually offered some consolation, because they were written from the perspective of someone who cares. But when Hollywood saw how much money could be made, they commercialized the hell out of 9/11. That pisses me off. Until recently i never thought someone could turn a National Disaster into something so superficial.

Sad, Tragic, Horrible, Bad, Terrible, and Drastic I will never forget this day. All day long, it was on the news on almost all the TV stations, including most of the cable networks, and all the radio stations. I was listening to the radio afternoon till evening at work. I even seen the people in New York in the state of shock seeing what happened.

that the world as I knew it just changed...I was in a DRB Infantry Battalion at Ft. Hood....deployment happened within 2 weeks and I didn't see my family for about 4 years save the R&R breaks or inbetween back to back rotations

I started riding a bike because traffic sucked getting into the was open post now closed with tons of security

in a way I am glad something happened, I now see a good reason why we provoked others to attack but then acted like we didn't start it and was attacked first

now back and out of military I want to use my life for good not harm and just help those around me, quit riding off to save the planet and be a good samaritain, and help raise my kids I never watched grow up.

I also became aware of the PNAC site and people that influence us, and are in power using religion and media to keep it

I think it was a very sad day for our country, several lost loved ones, several were brutially injured, everyone was heart broken.....

also, (not to sound immature or anything) but I knew that the band My Chemical Romance (my ALL TIME FAVORITE BAND) was formed because Gerard was heart broken abotu the attacks, or something like that,
another thing, if your school has a news report each morning, like ours we have Channell One, and it was very sad this morning, several had to go the restroom,...........
anyway, it was a sad day that has screwed our countryt up greatly, and I feel so bad because I ws only in 4th grade and I hardly remember every aspect of it.

I think all the facts are mixed up and there is something the government isn't telling us. I feel very sorry for the families and friends of everyone who died that day. My heart goes out to them♥

Looking at Manhattan Island and seeing the lower third covered in smoke and knowing people were dying in there.

Stay the course America. Never again!

I just ask myself why George Bush just sat in the classroom, doing nothing, pretending to read My Pet Goat ( The book was upside down ).... while thousands of men and women burned to death in the worst ever terrorist attack on US soil.

This keeps me up at night......
