I got the Garmin 12 at K-Mart for around $154 a few years ago. It has no maps in it, but it's a great tool for camping, hiking, etc. You can store up to 500 waypoints using latitude & longitude or just by recording the position when you're there. You can also upload and download waypoints using free downloadable software called "gardown" or something. You can always plot yourself on any map that shows lat & lon.

Hi,
I shop a lot and to save time and money I use cheapest prices search engine. Almost every merchant is there and over a million consumer written reviews. You will find many other ways that will help you with questions.
You can shop online or you can go to a merchant and use the toll free phone number if you feel more comfortable shopping like that.
There are merchant reviews, product reviews, compare by brand and a lot more. I hope I helped you and I wish you good luck.
Lisa

Garmin etrex legend. It comes with some basic roadmaps on it, but can upgrade the map feature if you so choose. Reasonably priced, around $150.00 if memory serves correctly. Also - try ebay...
