I think America is hated by other countries, we did NOT deserve 9-11-01 but it opened some doors for us, see now we call it the war on terror when its the same wars we've been fighting since time began, so, it works like this, we're worming our way into the UN, no secret there, with that, we keep fighting Iraq until people are so sick of it they don't have a problem when your one world leader comes, we'll be so happy to have relief from the fighting, no one will dare screw with him because its in the Bible, he gets to look like some sort of superhero, when in fact hes now going to be a victim because none of whats coming is good, he's got the ugliest title in the book, and alot of work cut out for him, but, its what he's called to do and we'll be so busy hating him we can stop hating each other. Look for a military figure, I'm thinking a Marine, watch for a genious, quite possibly the smartest man on the planet, watch for some one of the male persuasion, beautiful everything, women will want him, men will hate him the United States is depending on him. The UN is counting on him, and he can't do anything more that what God allows him to do, but we will fear him, and with very good reason, he won't be reckoned with, he won't be swayed, and won't be manipulated, won't be pushed around by terrorist of any national origin. Can anyone guess who he is?

Who the hell are you kidding???? Those people DID NOT deserve to die on 9/11. Do you even know what u r talking about? The US did not deserve that and I highly doubt that if another attack were to happen again no one would cheer. Have some respect for the victims and families of 9/11!

Well, I have to say, just because shady people in the government screwed things up with regards to foreign policy doesn't mean that the people who went to work on 9/11 just like they did every other day "asked" or "deserved" to be killed. Ditto the people who just happened to be traveling from one spot to another by plane. It doesn't mean that the city of New York "deserved" to be scarred by an attack, and it doesn't mean that ordinary citizens around the country who watched it happen "deserved" or "asked" to be frightened that way. The people who were killed that day weren't the people making the bad foreign policy, and if it wasn't for the shroud of secrecy our government puts up to keep people from figuring out what they are doing, many of these people might have disapproved of our handling of these situations you mentioned.
It might also be pointed out that since Iraq wasn't involved in 9/11, why do all your examples of why we "deserved" to be attacked all have to do with our dealings in Iraq? I'm not saying Rumsfeld was right to do what he did, he clearly wasn't, but is it relevant to your question?

American hegemony has dominated the world since world war II and is now being challenged by the Arab world. The attack of 9-11 was just their way of giving America a black eye. They are angry, as anyone would be, to find themselves on the opposite end of America's business interests. No sovereign ruler wants another country to dictate to them how they should live, what religion they should practice or who they should pay their dues to.
I suspect that if Americans had been born Arabs instead their views on everything would be entirely different than they are. Some people, such as yourself, try to see both sides of the issues and are pilloried for it.
Until they do, peace will always be just a dream.

99.9% of the people who died that day had nothing to do with any of what you mentioned. I guess I should try to be nice about what you said, but why?
I hope your children get beheaded and burned by terrorists. Then a few years later you log into Yahoo! Answers and some know-it-all prick is saying that they deserved it because of some action or actions your government was a part of.
My answer is nay.

In recent research on the events of 9-11, I feel like many of us that the situation was planned, carried out, and 'covered up' by our own 'government'. I feel it was a psycological way of bullying us and distracting us away from what REAL evil Rumsfeld, Cheney and Bush devised as a plan to use the government and the taxpaying citizen's money, armed forces for their own personal gain. I feel NO ONE DESERVES to be attacked with or without warning- however, IF we as Americans are supposed to be free, then we need to start looking at what REALLY goes on inside our governments interworkings and stop being afraid to 'make waves' by asking questions and being more involved in our legislatures morality and honesty and integrity and stop taking 'the government's word' for everything as the 'gospel' of democracy. Americans have more rights and freedom than they government wants us to realize- and for those that AREN'T brain washed and scared need to speak out and begin to open up the doors of our TRUE freedom and begin to make a LEGITIMATE change in our American society.

I do not think USA civilians were deserving of 9/11 no more than the Iraqi civilians are deserving of the War of Terror inflicted upon them. I am afraid the people who are deserving of all the terror are too rich and powerful to ever experience that.

Okay, you said that we gave Saddam weapons, trained him, and funded him. Even if that was true (it is not) you also said that Saddam had nothing to with 9/11. Therefore you have provided no evidence as to why we deserved 9/11. It will probably be quite difficult for you to understand what I am saying, and further for you to comprise and intelligent rebuttal, so I will expect little.

I feel sad for the poor stupid people like you... No, really, I do...
You're a complete and utter moron. The answer for your question is nay. The rest of the michael moore propaganda you listed is irrelevant and wrong.
The only people who cheer 9/11, and pray for another, are either dodging Israeli missiles or hiding in a cave in the middle of a mountain range enjoying their "muslim paradise".

no one ever asked for something like 9/11 or do they deserve it. Attacking general people should never be done as in 9/11.
