In a couple of questions I have suggested planning time to have sex and I received a ton of answers about, "That is why I'm never getting married!" etc.
Why is the idea of scheduling sex so horrid. It requires two people to have a similiar schedule to do it. Dating require scheduling! Hell, even dinner requires someone to say, "This is when it is going to happen."
Are these people just not living in a busy world like the rest of us. After a long day (and longer evening of getting all the kids to bed) it takes a commitment to make love. It can't always be the culmination of a bunch of warm fuzzies every time or else there will be no making love.

To extend on the dating concept, planning a date doesn't make it any less wonderful while you are on the date. You spend the day think about the date, what are you going to do, where are you going to go. When you have sex planned you think about the sex during the day. You call each other and make little jokes about it. You think about your partner and kind of do the romancing during the day so you are ready to go at the end of the day. It is also a case where if one person doesn't want to, they are not obligated any more than when a husband starts rubbing his wife at the "hopeful" start of random sex.

Probably because scheduling sex makes it feel like an obligation, something you have to do no matter what, not something spontaneous and fun. In reality though, if these people would give scheduling sex a try, they might find that they are having sex more often that way, and that they are looking forward to it more during the day, and it's easier to get in the mood when the time comes.

The concept of scheduling sex takes away all spontinuity, if you feel you have to perform at a certain time, it takes all that away.

And don't you think the same thing can happen whether there is a schedule or not... you or your partner may still not want to make love on the schedule because someone is too tired or just feels they can't fit with this schedule.

Let it happen when it happens. Sex is not all there is to love. For myself I would never go for scheduling sex and I know my partner wouldn't!

Doesn't scheduling time for sex take all the romance and intimacy out of it and turn it into simple body function? Marriage takes work in every thing a couple does, including intimacy. No matter how rough or long the day is, time should be taken to show our love and if that turns into love making, then great. If it ends at holding hands and a kiss goodnight, then great.

Scheduling sex makes it boring and predictable. Sex is one of the more pleasurable things about a marriage and to schedule it only makes it unpleasurable. When I was married and raising my daughter I worked full time and lived in a busy world. But somehow my now ex and I managed to find time for sex when we wanted. If you have to schedule sex then you don't know what locks on bedroom doors are for or child gates are used for. If you have to schedule sex then you're taking all joy and fun out of it. No thanks...that's one of the reason's I'm no longer married to my ex. HE started scheduling sex (AFTER our daughter was in her teens yet) I prefer my sex to be real.

Not true! If you raise your kids well(mine are 6 and 8), they will respect you and what you say. It is no chore to get them to bed and then the rest of the evening is open for sex. Sex is supposed to be spontaneous and in the heat of the moment, not scheduled like a doctor's appointment!

To "Q & a guy": Your argument isn't very valid. while a woman has conceived a newborn, the toddler, of direction, isn't in the present day completely grown. It starts off as a fetus without each and all the actual structures which you might even see in a human. additionally, even while the youngster is born, it maintains to strengthen. the youngster even finally ends up with extra bones than it as quickly as had; specific purposes of an toddler's suggestions get weaker as they grow previous too because of the fact they finally end up being out of date. As we strengthen, our cells continuously multiply inflicting us to get extra beneficial in length, so the thought all of us began from a unmarried celled organism isn't too a techniques fetched. to no longer point out, a great form of microorganisms that reason ailment evolve as our drugs gets extra progressed. it is all relating to the organism adapting so as that it is in simple terms before the sport and insure the continuation of the species. EDIT: yet another element that I forgot to show is that our "layout" isn't even perfect. we are susceptible to mutations and ailments. additionally some factors of the physique are not particularly mandatory; there are some issues that our bodies can no longer clearly recover from to boot. Now to the question: the only area of the 'God theory' that looks useful is the "permit there be easy" element. possibly this became into probably the enormous bang. possibly this universe became into created by coincidence by some clever beings or some organic occurring phenomenon. in line with danger it will ensue lower back. the belief of an all-powerful being has in simple terms developed with mankind by the years to describe what could no longer be defined. Even now as quickly as we will not clarify some thing we affiliate it with issues that we are already conscious of.

Whatever works for you and your partner. Making time for each other (regardless of what you do with that time) will enrich your relationship and help keep it going. If a schedule works for you, that's outstanding.
