The last week and a half i've had some pregnancy symptoms such as nausea, heart burn, changes in temperature, loss of appetite....I am on the pill but I have missed some days lately and taken 2 in one day a few times. I don't want to wait any longer, has anyone gotten accurate results when testing earlier?? thanks guys

I think most preg. tests say to take it the day or the day after your first missed day. Just type in "pregnancy test" into a search engine and you can get more info.

If the pregnancy hormone is already strong enough to cause pregnancy symptoms, it may be strong enough to be detected in your urine. Your symptoms could also just be pre-menstrual. Everyone is different, sometimes you can tell earlier than most. I would wait a little longer. You can try the test, right now if it's negative, it doesn't necessarily mean you are not pregnant. Get a test that has 2 tests in the package, if it's negative right now, wait, and try again after you've missed your period.

The first response test may or may not show a pregnancy this early. Why not take one? You can buy them in boxes of 2 or 3. If it is positive, you are pregnant. If it is negative, you might still be pregnant, so if your period doesn't start, I would test again in another 3-5 days.

I got the results five days before the first time using a cheap test and the second pregnancy I tried with a more expensive test and it didn't work until the day before.

Depending on the test you can get an accurate result as early as 5 days before your period. I've always tested before my period was due and gotten correct results (both positive and negative depending on if I was pregnant or not).

Usually symptoms of pregnancy aren't suppose to show up till about the time you miss your period. So it would be better to wait and see. You might just be feeling those symptoms because you are worried you might be pregnant.

Certain hpt's say they can tell up to 5 days before a missed period. You need to read the boxes and find one that works before your missed period.
