You are not supposed to use any powders on babies. This is the latest. You should use a cream with zinc oxide in it for their bottoms overnight or when they have a diaper rash (Desitin is best, nice and thick). They don't want people using powders because it might cause breathing problems for the babies.

I have heard that any powder in a girl's diaper can cause yeast infections. Also powders aren't good because they can be inhaled and cause respiratory infections.

I have not heard of any creams being bad for babies, just make sure it is a baby formula and not an adult formula. Check the box or tube to see if there are age recommendations. Your pediatrician would also be able to recommend a good brand to use.

Baby powder helps absorb the moisture in the diaper so the baby doesn't get a rash. Cream helps heal the rash if the baby gets one i have johnson and johnson 3-1 cream and also destin.

You shouldn't use powder on babies... baby powder can cause breathing problems. Lotions/creams etc.. are somewhat of a personal choice. I prefer the Burt's Bee's Baby Bee product line because it doesn't have lots of crap in it.

Aveeno Baby is not bad, either.

Powder isn't necessary -- it can be inhaled by the babies, which is not a good thing.

We use Boudreaux's Butt Paste on my daugther when she has a rash. Otherwise we don't use cream at all.

A lot of friends have good luck with Balmex and Desitin, others like plain ol Vaseline.

Any powder, cream...etc. that is not made for babies, should not be used on babies. I stick with Johnson+Johnson baby products as they are so reputable. Talk to your pediatrician if you have any other questions or if your child has skin problems.

I think Johnsons & Johnsons is the most sensitive product to use on babies. This products makes the baby feel very relaxed and comfortable

I even use that product and the scent is soooo nice and clean
