Marco and Zidane are already in peace....
Only the fans that can't get over the fact that France lost keep dwelling on the past.
Soccer players always offend and badmouth each other on the field ,but after the game is over they'll go out to a bar and have a drink together, and that's reality not what we make them to be on this forum.

Don't you think that FIFA officials should be less hypocritical than what they have shown so far?
Blatter and Platini were absent at the ceremony when the World Cup was awarded to ITALY! After the disgusting comments made to the press during the tournament, most likely they were disappointed and bitter about the Italian triumph.
The SHAME was soon after amplified when an absurd verdict was sentenced about the Zidane-Materazzi episode.
What are they trying to do now? Rehabilitate Zidane the LOSER?
Blatter is the most hypocritical person in the football world!

Zidane has been an almost good player but not a good example for the young generation...
Marco and him dont need to make peace, because Marco is the World Champion and Zidane is now hidden somewhere playing football with the monkeys...

Even if they can't,they have to! They are both professional football players,but of course,Zidane is retired..well,he used to be a professional football player..both of them are fathers and idols to football fans:Zidane is an idol to French fans and Materazzi is an idol to Italian fans..and both of them are well-known people and they are also being admired by kids..they should have shown good example..so no matter what,they have to make peace! peace is love..and peace is what we need in this forum and in this world..please make peace French and Italian fans!! Peace..please make peace..

judging from his recent statements, i don't think zizou is predisposed to any reconciliation esp. something staged like this. it's too melodramatic, hardly zidane's style. besides, he just wants to move on and perhaps fifa should take his cue and just let this thing die a natural death. if the intention is to bury the issue, a stunt like this would hardly accomplish anything except maybe put it back into the fore of things and that would only be self-defeating. people are starting to put this issue behind them and they have no desire to relive all the sordid details. my wish is for fifa to just let things go. zizou has dealt with it and with his "confession", so did materrazi. time to move forward.
