This was on the internet news. Squirrels were taking the flags placed on graves up to their branches to make nests. Is nothing sacred. Have the squirrels gone nuts?

yes, think about it for a moment. what has our government done for the squirrel?
they're flattened by our cars on our highways, electrocuted by our cables, wires, drown in our pools... shot at by our taxpayers..
so on.
yes it's a political statement.

They need a good dose of Varmit Busters to recover those flags, retrain the squirrels and send them packing to Mexico. Let them lose there and do their thing....lol...anywhere as long as it isn't Canada....:)

Ironically, greenies have afforded endangered status to the red squirrel, so your hands are tied on this one. Too bad they weren't the gray squirrels...then you could "harvest" them.
