I was told they no longer use the green colored glass. They toss them in the trash. Is that true?

Seems to me they could blend them with the dark brown ones or save them up till they have a whole batch of green

I was told the volume of green bottles is so low they can't justify keeping them around taking up space and they can't add them to the other colors.

I can't imagine why they wouldn't blend in with the brown, but my info is only second hand so it is not verifiable.

I think if it is true it's to do with the fact that one green bottle in an entire load of clear bottles would ruin all of them, just one.

Some smaller companies are not taking green glass. I'm not sure why.
