what about the people who died in the 1998 Kenya and Tanzania US embassy bombings - why are these not remembered every year? or the ones in the Saudi Arabia US embassy bombing? or is it ok if it is brown and black skinned people far away from american soil that they are never remembered??? those were terrorist victims as well.

Come on give the families a break, if you had lost someone close to you , I would hope that you would want them to be remembered every 9/11..They died a horrible death and a senseless one..They just want people to remember their loved ones..your heartless..I just hope you never have to endure any severe pain of losing someone dear to you or would you even care..

There were over 2,500 people who died that day. In a instant their lives were done, in the most horrible way. They left behind, wives, husbands, children this is something that will never go away for them. For others like me, who did not loose anyone on that dreadful day, still grieves over this act of violence. To tell someone to get over it is very hard for many to do. I believe people will mourn over this for many years.

You are really screwed up, did you know that?! I lost several very good friends at the WTC. And yes, I am still mourning over them, and I mourn with their families. You are a heartless jerk.

Ahh--you know so little of human nature. It isn't in us to just forget--my mother still felt somber on the anniversary of Pearl Harbor (she was 15 when that happened), and many people of my own generation still have clear recollection of the assassination of JFK.

And you wonder why people still grieve? I guess it's true whatthe song says--"Without a hurt, the heart is hollow."

I'm sure you'll solve the problem with this war and 9/11 and everything that surrounds it by being an idiot. Run for president.

You are an insensitive clod.

Obviously there were none of your family in the massacre.

But sadly you do not seem to consider the people who died as fellow Americans.

Since you do not equate yourself with Americans may I suggest you move elsewhere. I"m sure you could find a good paying job in Iraq................

you know what that is very heartless of you to even say something like that, especially today of all days. my father died in 2001 (not 9/11, but earlier in that year) and every time the anniversary of his death comes around i still get sad and cry, that is just me, one sad story for just me and my family, but for something this large, a national tragedy, something that thousands of people have mourned, and having our lived forever changed (in even the smallest ways, like airport security, or armed national guardsmen around more), for you to just say get over it, that is just completely inhumane...if you have no more hurt feelings or sorrow over this date, and what this date symbolizes then that is you, just don't expect other people (our nation) to get over it just as easily.

You are so heartless.
How dare you tell people to "get over it."
9/11 is in our history books now, how can we forget something so shocking that has happened in our lifetime?

Now put your brother, sister, mother, whoever you want to put in there on one of those planes or in that building. You're honestly going to tell me you wouldn't honor their memory?

Better yet, why don't you go look into the eyes of one of those small children who have never hurt anyone and taunt them while they cry? They lost thier mom/dad or family member.

As I say to my kids...sometimes its okay just to be quiet. This is one of those times.
