police horses are treated just the same as oficers on the force... the horses are actual police agents believe it or not and have the same priveleges as and government agent!! just as a horse not a human(of course)!!

No horses have authority, of course. But police horses are permitted in areas that "regular" horses are not, or rather, police are permitted to ride horses in areas off limits to other riders.

If you kill a police horse you will go to jail for life for killing an officer of the law. If you kill a regular horse you have dog food.

I would think so, based on the fact that killing or injuring a police horse is considered the same offence as killing or injuring a human police officer (this also applies to a police dog).

That was a test project some years ago. They found that, while the horses were able to successfully collar a perpetrator, they were altogether unable to put the cuffs on him. Beyond carrying mounted officers, their now restricted to duty as crossing guards.

Apparently so, but have you ever seen a horse try and write down a statement or falsify one, as the case may be. What i do know is that there big, hard as nails and don't give a monkeys where they defecate.

yeah the difference between a misdemeanor for cruelty to animals and prison and felony conviction for doing harm to a police officer, doesn't matter if the officer is human or horse

yes they have the same authorities as the police dog..they r officers of the law..
