you can love someone and hate them at the same time!! first try figuring out why your hated in the first place! work on it from there! If its something that you can overcome then try to work on it .. but if your spouse just doesnt want to be with you anymore and nothing you can do changes that then let em go! they will learn real quickly if they made the right decision!

Yes, it happens quite often in other countries where there are pre-arranged marriages.
Why anyone would stay married to another if they hated each other or just one was in love is beyond me but there are the old religious tenets of "til death do us part".
