why are teacher and police the lowest paying career in the world.?

actor, music stars, sports play all make more then police, teacher and solider but dont do anything but what they want in life.

I have no idea. I think that teachers should be one of the most respected jobs, well at least good teachers. Same thing with police officers they risk life and limb, and generally people don't like them.
Who knows this world has some really screwed up priorities such as high paid actors. lol

Because they are the most important. Our legal system could not function without police men to enforce it. Everyone would be stupid if there were no teachers. It's just another sign that our budgeting is way out of wack. Teachers would get higher salaries if parents would stop suing the school districts.

I guess it depends where you live. In some places Police and Fire and Teachers are paid extremely well.

I don't believe they are. I have always heard that daycare personnel and retail store clerks were the lowest paid careers.

Actually, they aren't. The lowest paying job is the guy who scrapes road kill off the pavement in non-union states.
