The best thing that I did was learn where my flaws were. I had teachers read my papers and tell me what I did well in and where I needed a lot of work. Then I create a team of people who's strengths are my weaknesses to help me create the best work that I can.

My writing style is good and I am an excellent researcher, but my grammar is horrible and I have a problem of saying what I mean. So before I hand in any major paper I have my boyfriend, a grammatical genius, and one of my parents, who know nothing on the subject so they can tell me if it makes sense, look over it. Learning from their comments make my writing much stronger.

Good Luck!

S.D.: Do not take this the wrong way but start the way you intend to continue: 1. The first letter in a sentence is a Capital (as H in how). 2. Immediately stop using abbreviations such as 'Ur' or you will never learn the difference between 'your', 'you're' etc. 3. 'I am' instead of I m'. 4. 'wanna' what are you a Spice Girl - should be 'want to'. 5. I, the first person, is always a capital 'I'.
If you learn the above, you are well on your way to learning something. Now, a tip on composition. Remember you are allowed to use 'poetic license' which means that you can make up things, e.g. pretend things happened. It is not lying. Next, divide your story into three parts: 1. The beginning. 2. The middle. 3. The end. It is as simple as that. Good luck....

Stop using phonetic shortenings such as 'ur'. Seriously, it's a bad habit.

focus on ur writing and dont get lazy. use specific details whenever u can. dialouge helps too, just not too much, that gets boring. Make ur writing long enough so that its interesting but short enough that it doesn't get boring.
