Don't worry and that plastic and circuits inside are heating up and giving out that funky smell. Will lessen as time goes by and the more you have it turned on the quicker it will lose strength.

Lots of new compouters smell funny...it will go away after a while, dont wory ;)

What you are realizing is the outgasing of the plastic parts.
It's not harmful and will disipate over time.

Maybe it cut itself in the night and cleaned the wound.
