Uh...if she is then the person who did the sex change did a phenomenal job.
Seriously, he said this because it is completely unfair that gays are not allowed to marry because we live in a world full of narrow-minded people. He did it to provoke actual thought. And, if you remember correctly, Miss A had a little lesbian love relationship herself for a while with a model/actress. So maybe it's not just his decision. Perhaps she played a part in deciding this too.
*And Supermum, they are allowed; but I think it's only in one or two states. Otherwise you have to go out of the country.* =)
