Yes yes and yes. My source: my third child. My doctor says that when you stop taking the mini pill you are even more fertile then ever so you really need back up birth control during this time, wish he'd told me that before. I was in the middle of switching from the mini pill to the regular birth control pill, and I was having bleeding problems with the new pill so I stopped all together, the result was me getting pregnant even though I thought I was safe since I was bleeding. From the research I did you always ovulate first before you have your period in each cycle. So you are very possibly pregnant. But on the other hand, it could just be that your body is trying to adjust to being off of birth control and your cycle is a little messed up. Hope everything turns out the way you want! But a pregnancy test is in order.

If you read the instructions that go with the birthcontrol pills it should say how many pills you have to miss for there to be a risk of getting pregnant. The ones I was on said that after missing 3 in a row there would be a possibility of getting pregnant. So if you had stopped taking them completly then there would be a chance of getting pregnant. If you did get your period soon after stopping and it was about the same amount of time it would normally take when you start the last week of pills then it would probably be less than normal just because it came early. You also have to consider though that some women take up to a year to be able to get pregnant after going off of the pill. So while it is possible you got pregnant it isn't likely. The only way to really know though is to take a test.

it is very possible to become pregnant on the pill. i would go to your ob/gyn and get checked out. or you could take a home pregnancy test. there is a possibility that you are fine and not pregnant, but to be 100% sure i would go to the doctor. they will do blood work and a pregnancy test and also look inside to see if anything is cooking.
do not listen to lilly, of course we ovulate even when we are on the pill. that is why if the pill is not taken correctly there is a higher chance of getting pregnant.
the reason you may not be getting a normal period is because you are breastfeeding. talk to your doctor and they will explain this in full detail. although, it is possible to become pregnant when you are breastfeeding your first child.

No, when we are on the pill we do NOT ovulate so you are not on a fertile month if you were taking the pill. It takes 30 hrs for the last pill you took to leave your body, then it takes your body a while to start ovulating. The reason you did not get a normal period is because you did not finish the pack, if you stopped taking your pills like in the middle of the pack or didn't finish it at all, you are messing up your body because our bodies go on a schedule when we are on the pill, when you interrupt that schedule your body needs time to figure out what is going on. When I quit taking the pill, it took me 6 weeks to get my period back and sometimes it takes longer for you to get back to a normal cycle.
