I recently graduated in May and am currently unemployed. My undergrad degree is in Business Management,GPA 3.2. Will a decent graduate school accept my GPA for entrance into a business or public administration program? Uncle Sam pays my way for everything and will pay for any additional schooling if I so choose, so money is not an issue.

Knowledge is always helpful. Will it help your career? Who knows?

See if you can find a company that will take you as you are and pay for some of your graduate degree work. Practical experience is often worth more than college theoretical learning.

It depends on the program. Do you really want to go to graduate school or do you want to go because you are unemployed? Are you unemployed because you don't have a graduate degree? Will your job opportunities increase if you go on to get your graduate degree? What do you eventually want to do?

With a GPA of 3.2 you should be able to get into a decent school. Of course, a lot also depends on your letters of recommendations and what your GRE scores (or whatever prosective graduate students in business must take). I am sure that work experience would look good too especially if you are wanting to continue on with Business Management.

I have my bachelors in Ecology and I am currently working on my MS and I know that it will be worth the time and effort. For one, the job opportunities are much larger and the pay is a lot higher.

Hi, I just found a terrific article about getting into top business schools that speaks specifically to the point of how to overcome a mediocre GPA. Thought you might find it relevant:

The guy who wrote it went to a non-ivy league school, got bad grades his freshman year, and ended up going to Harvard Business School for his MBA.
