I think it is supposed to mean that people who are generally "silent" are really trapped by something...insecurity, shyness, etc...and it is deafening to those who look at them. A similar quote is "Silent waters run deep" meaning just because you are silent, shy or quiet doesn't mean you aren't thinking or aware of what is going on...there could be an entire world of emotion and thought that just can't be expressed.

I don't know if it is true...maybe for some people. I think when someone is generally silent or quiet they are either angry, arrogant or extremely shy. Not eveyone has an outgoing personality and I would imagine if you don't it would be lonely and scream-worthy!?

Sometimes people just have a look like that on thier face. Don't get it mixed up with the Nutts of this world. Now I met one of those people one time and I seen that look on it's face. It's very true! These people are capable of lies and maybe, God knows what else. God Bless!

if you look at them. sometimes, the quietest people are really screaming on the inside and they wear it on their face. i do this. my husband can look at me and know what i really want to scream. if i actually did say some of the things i really want to say, i'd probably be murdered by now.
