I love daffodils and they're everywhere during spring. I'm also not a big fan of extremes in temperature, so spring is perfect for me - not too hot and not too cold.

I also love snuggling up on the sofa with a glass of red wine, but it doesn't matter to me what time of year it is!!

Autumn is my favorite. I love the way the wind feels. I love the colors of fall -- the leaves, pumpkins, corn, bales of hay, acorns and falling leaves. I love the sudden relief from the humidity of summer. And the smell of wood fires in fire places and bonfires is comforting.

And, of course, Halloween is my favorite holiday -- at 38 I still love to dress up and see the eciteement of all the kids running from house to house. I see neighbors on Halloween that I don't see any other time and it amazes me how communities come together to celebrate and make sure the kids have a little spooky fun.

Gosh....so hard to pick.

I think I would have to say Spring....with the new birth of life.

Flowers popping thru the ground, green buds peeping out on the trees, watching the birdies scurrie around gathering twigs for nests to have baby birdies, squirrels still burying food in the ground in case winter returns, the grass blades turning from muddy brown to perkie green and the sun....the beautiful sun....warming my face as the cool spring breeze is kissing my cheeks as I sit on the deck enjoying nature at its best.

I love the fall for the beautiful colors and the scent of dried leaves and the food and the cool air oin my skin. The harvest season is the most beautiful time of the year.

My favourite has got to be winter too, when it is cold outside and the wind is whistling around the chimney of your house, but you are warm and safe inside. And in the morning when you leave the house the cold sting of the wing brings you straight back to life. Its brilliant.

Spring because of the freshness and the lighter evenings
Summer because of the warm nights on the patio
Autumn because of the colours and smells, the mists and mellow fruitfulness
Winter because that's when I have 4 weeks in southern Spain
