I was getting ready for School, I am in 11Th grade. I was just about to walk out the door when the second plane hit. I went to school, and in every class all day we watched the news.

i was walking into the elementary school. when the first plane hit. i wasnt informed of what happened what happened until 12:00. the twin towers were a member of my family. i wrote a letter to president bush and i remember watching the news all day long. when my dad came home i yelled at him. i said you promised, you promised that we'd go up there one day. he said no one ever plans that something like that would happen. also through my mind was remembering the last time i saw them from the bridge on my way home. i should mention that pre-9/11 i went to new york city at least 2 times a month. and well as i was saying the last time i saw them i will never forget. i looked out the window of the car and saw that new york city was engulfed with a rainbow fog. the only thing i could see was the world trade center sticking out over the fog. i am a twin and to me and my sister those towers represented us. i was the north tower because i am taller and she was the south tower because she was shorter. i will never forget that day. or anything by it.

bless all who have good thoughts for the family members and friends that were lost that day.

i was just hopping out of the shower getting ready to go to school & i heard my mom scream... (she just turned on the news and the second plane just hit right in front of her on live tv) & i ran to see what had happened... it was surreal... i live on the west coast...in san francisco, and i was shaking with fear that we were going to be a target too. needless to say i did not finish getting ready for school both my mother & i stayed glued to the tv all day long. those poor families...may all of the victims rest in peace, (those that died on 9/11, and those that have had any other 9/11 related deaths) and for the families, please know that your loved ones will never be forgotten...

I was at home getting ready for work. My boyfriend called and told me to turn on the TV. I thought it must have been and accident at first but it kept playing over and over. It was so unreal. I stayed glued to the TV for days after. It was really depressing. All that loss for no reason.

i was in the 8th grade working in the library as an assistant laminating some posters when a lot of teachers came into the room i was in (which had a tv) and they told me to get out.... so i left and then i came back 5 min later and there were even more teachers watching it. i stood there for about 10 min and then a teacher noticed me and told me to get out again... so i left again and went to my favorite teachers room and turned on the tv. its as if the admins didnt want us to know what was going on.
