Scan for viruses and spyware. also, if you have a lot of programs in your start up folder, that can slow the machine down tremendously.

I would think its spyware and other junk software running.
Clear out your temp IE files and run some spyware and virus programs.

Install & update run until it shows nothing.

Download this scan and save a log. Post the log file at http://www.castlecops.com/f67-hijackthis...

You might have too many files on your computer taking up a lot of space. Or you could download a program to scan your computer for malware (adware etc.) because that stuff can slow down a computer. I use Ad-Aware for that.

2. download and install spybot.
3. update it.
4. let it clean the spyware from your PC.
