I think an IPod is a much better gift than a car! She may be a good driver and all but at 16 it is easier to take care of an IPod than a car! I'd rather have an IPod than a car and I'm over twice her age!
Besides... isn't it the thought that counts, not the price of the gift?

I think the iPod is just fine. She can buy her own car when she can afford the car itself and the insurance that comes with it. Oh, and when she has her driver's license.

a good daughter would be happy with any thing u got her.....maybe she and you can save up money for a car...
