BELIEVE ME, IF I had one next door, I would not bother to tell the police. They would be TOO lenient on them. I would take them out myself. Unless the rest of the town beat me to it. I had a "gang" member threaten to come to where I live and take me "out." I told him he better bring a LOT Friends, because I live in a small country town and EVERYBODY is armed. They'd never make it out. Never heard from him again. Don't start a fight, NEVER back down from one.

Wanna hear something scary?

We live in Central Wisconsin and right after 9/11, our next-door neighbor suddenly had a guy living in his house who was of Middle Eastern origin. I think he was from Pakistan. Now this isn't that unusual except we do live in a fairly homogenic community and it was a bit strange, especially with what he brought with him. I try to remain open-minded and not racially profiling, but this is one strange case.

He had "friends" who stayed there as well. There were 3 or 4 of "them." Our next-door neighbor told the people on the other side that this guy moved in and all he had with him was his laptop computer, cell phones and his passports...no clothes, no other furniture. He and his "friends" acted very suspiciously too, always answering the door for our neighbor, not allowing him to answer the door, etc. Then one day, the guy and his friends disappeared. Took a plane out of Madison, WI, to Buffalo, New York, and left his car parked on the street (for weeks). Said he'd be back for it later. The passports were left, I believe, but he took the computer. I heard the story from the neighbor's friend who came over and discovered these guys "living" there. Who the heck leaves their passport behind when traveling in a foreign country?

Well, I called the FBI. The lady on the other side of the house in question called the FBI as well. This guy was investigated fully. We were told that everything "cleared" with them and eventually the car on the street disappeared. Like they would tell US if there was something fishy about these guys.

Sometime later, a terrorist cell in Buffalo, NY, was discovered. I often wonder if these guys were involved in that. Seems a bit strange that he moved in with only his computer and passports and left in a big hurry to a site that had a known terrorist group in place.

Scary, isn't it? You never know when they'll move in next to you.

My parents place still has hundreds of police literally 20 yds from their front door, with the command centre on the Common still searching Kingswood where they found the liquid explosives that were going to be used in the terrorist attack a few weeks ago

there are a few pakistani looking men in my building where i live, they talk on the phone constantly at odd hours of the night and are very rude. if i am bringing packages home, and they see me walking to the elevator door, they never hold the elevator for me. one group of 3 occupy one apartment and another group of 3 occupy the apartment across the courtyard. they go between both apartments frequently. some of them have michigan plates on their cars and i'm in california. one night i saw a group outside my building talking at 2 am. i am 4 miles from LAX airport.

Is this a "base"? should i be suspicious or is this just normal behavior.
