Help with sims 2 downloads!?

Question

i've downloaded some new stuff for the sims 2 but how do i get it on to game because i want to use it when i play on the game... Please help

if u saved to the desktop just click it and apply it to the game ....

if u downloaded from another *sims* site u may need the meshes that go with the product ...(go check the site u downloaded from thoroughly)

There are a lot of possible explainations so it may be confusing to post them all here. I don't have time to speculate where you put the downloads or what kind they are, but here's some tips:

If you are downloading from the Official Sims 2 site then downloads are so automatic you don't have to think about it.

While you are playing your game, you just click on the control icon on the left where the asterisk is, and it will say "Custom Content Browser" and ask if you want to go get free downloads from Sims2.com. You click yes and then it will give you a menu of high rated downloads to pick from. These will install immediately into your game (might take a little time to download).
