I know when I was pregnant, I had some serious gas. I burped and farted probably about 3 times more than usual. When I was pregant with my first son, I would make his father rub my belly so I could fart and relieve the severe gas pains. All I can say is try to keep your broccoli and bean eating to a minimum!!!!

Well... I am 30 weeks... I can't say I fart "a lot". It's not more than what I did BEFORE I got pregnant... still the same amount. Only difference is, I can't hold them in... they just slip out with no warning now.

yes.. and I also never had heart burn until I was pregnant. Haven't had it since either. Becoming pregnant exposes you to alot of things you experience for the first time. Each pregnancy is different as well as the cravings.. but its a wonderful experience.. enjoy

Women don't have to be pregnant to fart a lot, but it does have an extra effect, such as eating beans!!

Hahhah.. I do not really know. I was pregnant, and I didn't fart a lot. But my husband said that I used to snore. I never snored before my pregnancy, or after... go figure.

Unfortunately, I did seem a bit gassy during a time. And it just kinda surprised you - there was nothing you could do! But gratefully, it was usually when I was in bed, not out in public or anything...
