How much money should I get paid for babysitting a 6 year old.?

I pick the little boy up from school and bring his 13 old brother to confirmation on wednesdays I also cook them supper and the little boy has ADHD

I babysit from 5:00-11:30 (the latest)

where I live people charge anywhere from two to three dollars and hour per kid so if you are picking up and driving around to I think that should be taken into consideration. Not many people do that so if they want to keep you make a reasonable request and see where it goes. Eight to twenty dollars an hour is rediculous it isn't worth it for people to work if they give their whole paycheck to a babysitter. Just think about how you would feel if you had kids and had to pay that much, one of these days you are gonna need someone to give you a break too. Good Luck

As you describe the job, you have a lot of responsibility.

As long as this job is not governed with permanent rules, I think that you can charge minimum ... ten dollars an hour, .. but .. hey .. but .. this can vary depending on .... your boss, can he or she pay that amount without sacrificing a good chunk of his salary? ... or maybe he or she can pay more, ....
