The movie is supposed to be a bio-pic staring all those draft-dodging good old boys who call everyone who dissagrees with them cowards.

I'm getting a little Goddamn tired of you rightwing nutcases calling people who don't agree with you cowards. How many of you have fought for your country?

At least Kerry showed up at the party. Dubya bribed his way off the waiting list.

First of all, yes... we have seen war heroes, regular G.I.'s, National Guard, legitimate deferrals AND draft dodgers on BOTH sides of the political fence (in Washington and all over America).

So I agree, it's not right to try to portray one political party as cowards because they exercise their right to speak out against a war.

But the hypocrisy is amazing! How can your side make that point and then proceed to call a president with whom you disagree "AWOL" when there's no evidence to support that claim (other than Dan Rather's wishful "reporting")?

I know you're tired of "Goddamn right-wing nutcases" calling people names. But don't try to add an exclamation point by doing the same thing. It's childish.

We have heroes, cowards, good citizens and bad (and plenty of name-callers) on both ends of the political spectrum.

Does the movie show John Kerry inflicting himself with wounds in Vietnam? Is that what you're mad about?

John Kerry - More "war" video footage in 2 months than what would be filmed by an entire brigade.

I'm getting tired of you liberal democrats calling our soldiers, "occupiers" and tools for "terrorizing"

Doctor, you employ the same tactics you denounce, libstain.
Bush got an honorable discharge. Is there something wrong with that? Any forged documents?

If you dont want to fight then you can serve in some other function and still "do your duty". If you dont want to help out your country in a time of war..then LEAVE the country and go to another country....and DONT expect to be able to come back! We dont have a problem with you not wanting to fight or serve your country but just expect to be able to live under the protection of that country when you are not a part of it!!!
