Who cares who makes more just as long as the bills get paid and there is food on the table. Money gets spent the same way no matter who makes it.

I've been earning more money than my husband for 4 years now. It doesn't bother me at all.

I earn more money, and it doesn't bother me at all. It does, however, bother my hubby a bit. He wants to fill the "traditioanl" role of bread winner for the family. But these days, with dual-income families being the norm, it's not as big of a deal!

I'm living that situation right now; and although its fun to joke about, I have no issue about her making more than I do. She's been working at her job for longer and has had more opportunities than I have. She deserves to make as much as she does.
It would bother me if I was always broke since I would be paying for dinners and drinks, and she wouldn't pay for anything; but thats not the case.

No...mine has a degree and I still earn more than he does... in time he will probably surpass me, but for now I am the money maker. We are fine with it.

Asking questions that differ for everybody won't give you a true answer, besides if the money is going for the family's needs why should it matter whose making what?
