It depends on how much Indian you are and if you can be entered into the tribal nation book. Find out what kind of Indian and see if you can trace the roots back. Then search the internet for the tribal council that heads that group and do what they tell you to do. If you are elligible, you will be elligible for many other benefits as well but you will have to check with the government for that.

You can go to college for free if you're 100% Native American. Several scholarships are based on what tribe you belong to or what reservation you are from. If you are less than 100% Native American or did not grow up in a tribal community you may have some scholarship but not 100%. There are several collages free to Native Americans such as Haskel University in Kansas. For a complete listing of resources see the link below.

Find out if some one in your family ever got what is called a role number. That will open a lot of doors for you. Check out your college counselors they will be able to help you. Don't go by what other people say. Don't pay attention to some of the crude remarks on here. I'm a lot older than you but when I was young being American Indian was not cool. So if you could hide it you did. I'm glad you aren't growing up in as much bigotry. Although you can find bigots anywhere.

If you want a scholarship you either (1) have to learn to spell or (2) have to use a spell checker. There's one right above the writing box on Y! Answers.
Yes, there are many scholarships for Native Americans. But you have to be smart and have good grades, too.
You ask the university financial aid office for details; or perhaps the colleges you are interested in mention them on their Web sites.

Talk to the financial aid people at the univerity you're looking at.
If you go to school in the Southwest (Arizona, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico) You're bound to get a scholarship.
Something like 60% of scholorships given at Northern Arizona University are to Native peoples.

That's possible.
The first step is to get yourself documented as such through the Bureau of Indian Affairs (Part of the US Department of the Interior).
After that there are some possible grants to follow up on through the US Government, through your school's financial aid office, and through your tribe.
Before you select a tribe, contact them and see what their tribal membership requirements are, because some are more stringent than others, so don't turn in your paper work for your Certificate of Degree of Indian Blood (CDIB) until you choose a tribal membership that will benefit you most.

First, before you do anything, have correct spelling on any application you send for a scholarship.
Also be a student in good standing showing community service.
Go to your local library or google scholarship information. There are many local scholarships through community groups such as churches and vfw's to name a few.
It takes some leg work.
Good luck.

Thats unusual. i prefer to propose you point out the subject/confusion on your instructor in a deferential and humble way. If the instructor insists that white rather everyone seems to be aliens and you do no longer sense threatened with the help of the instructor, ask if he minds you asking different history instructors on the college and/or his supervisor (branch head, significant, and so on. reckoning on what form of school it rather is.) you should be certain while you're predicted to respond to on assessments and homework that white rather everyone seems to be aliens. if so, a supervisor ought to probable comprehend approximately that instructor. yet continuously say issues such as you're giving the instructor the income of the doubt and the utmost appreciate else issues ought to backfire on you. Your concerns could be respected while you're respectful while you're worried relating to the instructor retaliating against you nonetheless or you do no longer sense delicate with the guy in any respect, basically tell another instructor whom you have faith that there is "a instructor" who says that ... do no longer say which instructor, whoever you tell will attempt to be certain who it rather is and be conscious gets around and the instructor will in some way or yet another ought to provide up asserting what he's asserting. except, it rather is actual some extraordinary option coaching style that rather everyone working at your college thinks is a great and ingenious new thank you to instruct. serious. some instructors like to play, "devils recommend" or "get the pupils to think of for themselves" and so on.
