i have suffered from cyistitis for years, the only remedy i have found so far that actually seems to work is.....
cranberry juice, but drinking water on a regulr basis, does reduce your chance of having cystitis, i personally have beeen drinking 4 glasses of water a day and have not had a serious attack for over 12 months. Previously i would have had at least 3 episodes within this time.

Definitely the barley water answer, definitely the cotton underwear, definitely not wearing jeans or tights or anything tight. Make a 2 litre load of drinks in the morning and make sure you drink them all every day to flush your system out.
I also in desperation I had a few lagers so I was merrily tipsy , it didn't hurt to wee cos I was slightly drunk and it flushed evrything through. (This was about 11 years ago)
After that I had 2 litres of barley a day, only wear cotton underwear, no bubble baths, no tight jeans and as soon as it burns when I go, I drink at least a pint of water, juice anything. And DONT EVER DRINK FRESH ORANGE!!!!!!!!!

Try adding some vitamin C to yourdiet.
I drink alot of water and thought my unrin was most likely watered down so to increase the acidity I took 1000mg of vitamin c every day.
I stopped having problems and have not had an infection for a few years.
Not sure if this would help but my doctor said it could not hurt.

Try not to use a strong soap when you wash down there and drink loads of cranberry juice and eat celery!! Also before and after sex make sure you empty your bladder. Go comando or wear cotton underwear.

Go to the doctor as you probably have some sort of infection. I always drank loads of water and avoided anything acidic like wine,tea/coffee,tomatoes,orange - they make it a lot worse.

See your doctor, if you have tried a course of antibiotics that didnt help you may need low level long term antibiotics. Keep drimking plenty of water to help flush out any bugs.
