I think they should. Without any meddling from us of course. But why do people keep insisting all these artificially created countries should remain as they are.

An independent Kurdistan would help the Middle East. The map of Africa makes hardly any sense, so why not have a better map reflecting accurately ethnic and tribal realities?

Because many of the "artificially created" nations in Africa are run by dictators and war lords who won't tollerate losing territory in the name of ethnicity. Any time you move borders, somebody's country gets smaller, while someone else's gets bigger.

Europeans redrew the borders according to where the natural resources were. If they change that now, that means an oil field or a diamond mine will get in the way of the whole process which means there is going to have to be war.

definitely NO! it's too late to redraw...plus with the current situation nowadays worsen the arabs and africans countries... perhaps, thay need to change their mindset and looking forward to unity. take example of other continents and regions which can live happily with harmony.

if someone asked you, after settling in america, to move to canada b/c of redrawing borders would you? it would mean moving home and family, work and schools, and pretty much people adapted to their lives wouldn't give them up.

its too late to redraw borders...arabs are in asia and africa so technically any one from those continents, whether they be arab or caucasian are african or asian
