I some times wonder if the answers are not real, just by the way they sound. I am not sure they are lying, maybe making up stories for the point though. It kind of bothers me because if I ask a question, it is because I need an honest answer. And if they are just out for the points, I am not going to get one.

I think lying in that situation happens all the time to lots of different people for lots of different reasons. Sometimes i think people do it to impress and make people think they are more popular or funny,or to show that they understand a certain situation, i think its wrong if they lie about something serious ie saying they have a serious illness to get attention,i think maybe they have problems if the lie is of a serious nature and likely to hurt or involve someone else. But generally you have to decide whether someone telling a lie to get people to accept and like them bothers you enough to confront them or wether the person is lacking in self confidence and lie to make themselves feel special.

Yes I get what you mean and you're right, you can never be 100% certain how to take people and what they say. Of course there ARE genuine people out there who don't pretend to be something or someone they're not and who are genuine and honest - you're speaking to one right now and I'm sure I'm not the only one. I don't do it to appear special though, it's just my nature. I believe in being honest and treating other people the way I like/want/expect to be treated myself, that's all.

People lie because they have a low self opinion. They are worried people will think less of them if they tell the truth. All we can do is hope they learn to love themselves.

It doesn't mean people are lying because they have had experiences in their life that you may never have had or will have. Different people live different lives and you never know how much a person has actually really gone through to get to where they are today.

I'm sure they do but some people like me also answer peoples questions because they care or they wanna help others out, I believe in karma and I hope I get the same good people to answer my questions when I have them.

Does it matter?
If the answer is well reasoned, you should not bother about it!
If it is not, then you just dont mind it...
I don't see any way for someone become special answering something he did not experienced... you won't call me on the phone and ask a date with me for being such a good answerer...

And? If they lie that is their problem. How would this effect you. Then again maybe they are telling the truth you know it is stranger than fiction!

Who cares it's the freakin internet. The only time when I get on here is when I'm bored. I don't care about the questions are the answers. This is just something to do to pass the time.

Possibly - although a lot of people definitely answer just to get the points! That sucks big time.
