LoL... there's nothing wrong with "slipping up" some of the time.. it is human nature. we are NOT perfect.. no matter how hard we try! i think they key to understanding nature, however, is the fact that you Choose to *TRY* to be sweet and kind.... and when u slip up, u feel BAD about it. therefore, your choice, the nature you want to emulate, is "Good", "Positive", "Caring"...etc etc etc. all healthy, positive things.

*remember, if u DIDN'T have a conscience, u wouldn't give a crap if u were "Good" or "Bad"...!!! does that make sense? so if u were "naturally" evil or bad, why would u even care about doing good or doing bad? it wouldn't even be a problem!

that is what separates us from animals... we have conscience, we have thought, we have CHOICE. to do what is "right", verses what we feel is "bad". if we didn't know that difference in the first place, no one would be able to judge you. but because we have an innate sense of Right and Wrong, we are able to make those choices, to become good and bad.... :). so, if i were u, i would appreciate and applaud myself for knowing the difference between good and bad, and instead of punishing yourself for messing up once in awhile, FOCUS on continuing those attempts at being "sweet and kind"..... just a good person in general. that way, you will be able to Learn from your mistakes, instead of wasting time feeling bad about yourself.

*i've learned a lot recently from Romans 5-8.... if u ever have chance to look @ the bible for fun. :)... it says that Jesus died for our sins...once we accept that, we are JUSTIFIED---> Not Guilty. of past, present and future sins. what that means to me, is that even when we mess up and make mistakes, we are already forgiven. and because i truly appreciate that sacrifice that Jesus made, i don't want to take it for granted. i WANT to do better now, i WANT to work harder at being a better person. but when i mess up, it's OK. Jesus died so that i wouldn't have to Punish myself.... all i have to do is Rejoice in His sacrifice, is to continue to March Forward, and use the mistakes to Learn to be Better Person.

hope that makes sense to you..even if u are not Christian, u still don't have to feel bad about yourself, to the point where u feel ur nature is evil. i think u just need to be proud of the achievements u've made in being "Good", and keep working harder to forgive yourself for the mistakes, and start over, using Tomorrow as a New Day to be better than yesterday. :) Good luck, and keep on seeking what you feel is Good and Positive and Healthy, and the world will already be a better place~~

You are right.
We humans are created in such a way.
There are some situations when we really turn out to be ruddies!
But over all I will say that all people cannot be kind coz if all wre polite and sweet than how will ve humans value the somuch kindness and how will v come to know the differences b/w people.
It is nature.

you need to stop and be sweet and kind to one more person before you can fix your problem. YOU. Don't be so hard on yourself, everyone has a bad day and it can take years to get others to see the changes you make in yourself(if they ever do). Just tell the truth, you know, speak from the insides and sooner or later others will see the core of your beliefs that your choice come from. it is easier to hurt than to help, just by the sheer number of ways to mess up. so keep this in mind and be who you truly are and maybe you can inspire someone else to embrace the kinder side of life.

Humanity was made for immortality. with the first bite of the forbidden fruit our natures and the nature of the whole world was changed. everyone has two seperate natures. unless we make a concious effort there can be not triumph of the good over the bad. even so the bad side is so powerful that without help it is impossible to truly overcome. especially in a society that promotes selfishness and moral ambiguity. why? because of free will. when we chose to do what is evil - not loving, kind, honest, we are chosing to give up our free will. a strange concept i know. but real freedom isn't the ability to do whatever we want, because our evil desires control us. once we let ourselves go down that path, even once we become slaves to that choice. our free will is subverted, made subject to our dark side. real freedom is the ability to do what is right. in america we have many freedoms, but many people use this as an excuse. by demanding our rights we are making them into something that is owed us instead of sacred priveledges. ---anyways --- there is only one way to rise above our evil nature - Jesus. if I'm preaching here it's because it's the truth. sure we can do some good on our own, but how clean is a used rag compared to a brand new one? eventually everyone fails. everyone. the point is that there's a natural consequennce to our evil nature. death, not just of the body but inside a person as well. perhaps a better description of your evil side would be to call it your dead side. now this side is what leads inevitably to your physical death. without the life of the spirit the body can't stay. it's a natural consequence of the death/sin/evil that pervades this world. The point of Jesus is not only to save us from our choice to be enslaved by our dead side but to save us from the second death, once we die here then we die for real. after the death of the body, without spiritual life the soul goes to a place of death. where all that hate and meanness is so concentrated that pain is the only sensation. Jesus, God is the source of spiritual life. without first surrendering your free will to Him and His Will, which is the will to do right, you can never be free of the consequences of choices made through the influence of your dead side. Jesus death on the cross is only a symbol, after his physical death he experienced that place of death for you, so that you don't have to. instead you can have life. in this world and in the next. all you have to do is beleive in HIm and ask Him to be a part of your life. you see it's about relationship. spiritual life is gained through a personal relationship with God. not by following rules. the rules are a perfect standard. a standard that even God doesn't expect people to follow perfectly. if we could then Jesus would never have had to go to the cross. Jesus made a way for us to get back to God. God through a personality of Himself made it possible for us to come back to Him. your life than becomes about doing what is right - kindness etc. out of your relationship. Jesus is the doorway to God. God is Love, God is Light, God is Life.

Ya know it's strange how easily we can change our feelings. I'm a grandma of 13 and this is one thing I would show my kids about feelings and body language. Try this and see how easy we can change and how we represent our feelings. Stand in front of a mirror, put your hands on your hips you can see and feel an aggressiveness, put your hands together like a prayer type you feel content and meek, fold your arms in front of you right away you feel combative. Do you see what I mean, so when we are showing attitude we can easily slow it down just look at how your being looked at.

of course it is our nature--ever since adam and eve sin has been a part of this world but the good news is that at least you are conscious of it and try and want to be better-we are human and will always fall short. God knows our hearts and has saved us by grace not by our good deeds. Faith in Christ means that through Him our sins are forgiven.

Humans are nothing more than devolved apes. And, the funny thing is, most Americans are Christians. What does that say about us as a population?

Life and the way of the world has made us this way. If we had went thru life with no pain, suffering, or heart ache we may not have had to end up this way!
