I was in 4th grade, and I was in math class at my elementry school. The day was a normal day: My teachers lecturing, the recess activities, and everything. We hadnt recieved any information. So then, on the school bus home, me and my friend overheard some talking, but we didnt know what was happening. Then, at home, I learned the news: The planes crashed into the twin towers and the pentagon. At first, me being an idiot 9 year old, wondered what the big deal was if no one died. I was badly scolded and told over 1100 people died in the tower. then, 180 people died in the pentagon. Thats when I realized it was of serious importance.

I was getting ready for work. The volume was down on my tv and I thought it wasn't real - at first. I had been at work for 2 hrs when I realized that I had family working in the pentagon and near the pentagon when the plane hit. I lived in the southwest at the time.

I was just waking up when I turned the TV on, two minutes later the second airplane hit the 2nd tower. I started shaking and feeling scared.

I was driving my friend to work (late) and we turned on the radio and didn't know why the news was on all the channels.
We thought it was another plane that malfunctioned. Not until l got to work did I know what really happened.
Bummer for all the families that lost someone. :(

At home. I had just woke up and my mom called me and told me to turn on Good Morning America. I will never forget the feelings I felt that day. It still makes me cry.

I was in Tysons Corner, VA heading to a car dealership to look for a new car when my car broke down... Over heating and not holding coolant.
I was sitting there listening to the radio.. Shocked!!!

Work. Less than an hour after the 1st plane hit they evacuated my entire building & sent every1 home.

Me and my daughter was sitting at my mother-in-laws house having birthday dinner with my husbands grandmother . Someone called and told us to turn the t.v. on. That was one day that I will never forget. My heart goes out to all who were victims and all of thier families. May god bless you!!!!!!!!

i was just getting ready for the day, watching the news. i called my wife and asked her if she had ever seen such great special effects on a upcoming movie...since i thought it was a new movie coming out! then the 2nd plane hit and we both couldn't believe that it was real!!
