Is 9 days post ovulation too early to test at home?

I'm pretty sure I mean past ovulation too...9 days...I ovulated on Sunday, 9/3.
I'm due for my period on 9/15 if this helps anyone responding.

If your period is due on the 15th, you can check about a few days before that. I'd recommend you wait 2 days after your missed period to get an accurate result and so you don't have to waste money and keep on buying new tests. Good luck!!

I got a faint positive on a New Choice Dollar store test 9 days past ovulation (which I am sure is what you mean). Fact Plus picked it up 10 days past ovulatin with a darker positive.

It's not post ovulation...it's pre- period. Most home tests work best the day your period is due or over due although some boast that they can work up to 4 days before your expected period although the test results are less acurate the farther away from your start date...Everyone's cycle is different.
