Hey just wanted to see what the Tiger fans think about the Yankees taking over #1 overall in the AL. I know there was a lot of talking about how great the Tigers were, and how when the Yanks were only one game up, the fans were saying wait until the end of the year. Well, the year is almost out and the Yankees will probably be the best team in the AL again, so what happened to the Tigers?

It's not a problem.

I'm fine if The Tigers do NOT own the best record at the end of the season. Considering what the red wings and pistons did (both had the best record in their respective leagues, and failed miserably in the playoffs).

Either way The Tigers still make the playoffs.

Actually I am hoping the yankees do end up with the best record in the AL. That way they can get all cocky (like they never are! ha!) and over confident. That will be thier achilles heel!

And yes the yankees have owned The Tigers this year (5-2). Another reason for the yankees to get all cocky and over confindent.

What is that old saying? The bigger they are, the harder they fall?

regrettably, i think of the respond isn't any. the main reason i've got self assurance this is that the divide between communities is a few thing that has come on in ranges. there grew to become into particularly widespread opposition for the time of the run as much as the election of Obama's first term, which right on the factor of election whilst the financial gadget crashed started out to alter into extra divisive. Then the combat over wellness care went a step extra with the Democrats passing that without Republican help in any respect. on condition that then it has persevered to improve. So, at this factor the two aspects are extraordinarily aggressive - with justification because of the fact there is now no have confidence in any respect around the aisle. the present firearms debates have actual brought about the events to break themselves as they have inner disagreements. Plus, the subject concerns popping out approximately Bengazi, the IRS and the AP wiretapping all upload gas to the hearth of loss of have confidence. it is going to likely be exciting to be certain what happens interior the midterm election this 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. If there is any shift interior the present stability it is going to likely be considered as a mandate of the folk and the situation will possibly worsen. Thinkingblade

Their most valuable player in Polanco got hurt and without him Leyland has been struggling to make a line up. I mean Pudge leading off some games? Thats a joke. Their pitching has been good but their offense is inconsistent. I live in the Detroit area and i am a Yankees fan so im kind of happy with what is going on because of all the crap i get. The Yankees are playing like they were going to before Shef and Zilla went down. They made the big push when the Replaced Sheffield and Cabrera has been good all year. Matsui also could be starting tonight and now i expect them to take off more then they already have. Matsui could be completely ready to go in the playoffs and he has been one of their more clutch hitters in recent years. With him in the end of the order and Jeter in the front, they create 0 gaps in their lineup.

Tiger's don't have a playoff team. And that's it. Leyland coached his rump off and got them to play over their heads but it's gonna be all over for them soon. Both the Sox and the Twins are gonna overtake them.
