The Metropolitan Police were not too fussy when they gave a job as a Policeman to an illegal immigrant with criminal convictions.No doubt their thinking was that. they must represent all aspects of society therefore employing criminals was a good idea.

Nope. Sorry mate. My friend is applying just to be a Police Special which is unpaid work. The application form requires the life history of urself and ur parents and siblings, if any of them have a criminial record or have even been arrested then I wud forget it.

Just a guess but I'm thinking probably not. Depends on the crime maybe. Probably be ok with a traffic offence like speeding. But a thief/murderer might find it a little trickier to get through the police recruitment process.

It depends on what role you're applying for and if you've spent time. The police force would be able to confirm.

If it was a felony i dont think you can.. but then again there are always security companys who do hire felons(some companys you will have to check into it) .. my brother was a securityguard after a 2 yr stay in prison.. and yes they knew about the crime he committed
