The Montreal Canadiens will have a season like the Detroit Tigers have had in baseball this year.
They will have a big start to their season. They will open up a big lead in their division and get some people talking. Then they will slow down after the All-Star break and be caught by one or two other teams and drop to about fifth or sixth in the Conference standings. Watch out however, they will make the playoffs and will be a more dominant and surprising team that will make it to at least the third round.

I see them in 5th position. The club is much better than last year! We got rid of Zednik, Bulis and Sundstrom. Guy Carbonneau is a great coach with good discipline. Samsonov on the line with Kovalev will be awesome! Huet is simply a standing wall in front of the net, if not Aebischer will cover him very well. Let's not forget abot Markov he makes a huge difference in defense. And we've got too young guys Chipchura and Latendresse who should jump in this year too big talented forwards!

They'll finish 5th in the east. Love Huet. Hope he'll do well this season since he's done so well last one. With two outstanding goalies in the team, I see them going deep into the playoffs and maybe win another Stanley Cup.

I think they will do well.
Huet may or may not be the real deal but barring a disaster they will certainly make the playoffs.
In the Northeast I doubt they can finish ahead of the Sens or Sabres but it is a long season.

For the Love of God can Koivu make it one season without getting blinded or get cancer jeez I love the team and their Captain but every time he goes down so does the team.
If Koivu stays healthy and Huet plays well, they will be in the final four...

the Habs will be a competitive team all season, but if Huet is at the top of his game like last year the Habs will be really tough to beat this season, so if Huet is hot like last year they could finish top in the Eastern Conference and if he struggles the Habs will Finnish around six or 8th. they will make the playoffs for sure.
GO HABS GO!!!!!!!!!!!
HIP HIP HUET!!!!!!!!!!!

I think Montreal needs to be re-tooled in order to be competitive for the upcoming season. But on the other hand - the FLYERS will run the table in the east this season.
Truth hurts - don't it!
LOL!!!

I don't think they're going to make the playoffs this year. Even if they do, it'll be seventh or eigth place and they're going to get eliminated in the first round.
