It is always surprising to see someone who cannot consistently spell Pakistan correctly prove to be less than optimally informed about geopolitical relations on the Subcontinent.
Indeed, Indian-Pakistani political relations have improved considerably since the most recent nadir. This, however, has little to do with intervention by the USA. Indeed, although the US foreign policy role was more significant in defusing some earlier Indo-Pakistani tensions--particularly in the 1970s--the most recent deterrent to Indian aggression against Pakistan was, in fact, the reality that Pakistan is also now a nuclear-armed state. As the US learned during the Cold War, it is a very different proposition to engage in military action directly against a nuclear-armed state than a state without such weapons.
The primary friction at present between India and Pakistan remains the Jammu & Kashmir territorial dispute. To be clear, this tension remains active, and may flare up again at any moment, but violence in the Kashmiri region has actually been reduced over the last several months, in part because of the clear diplomatic communications between the Indian and Pakistani governments about the dangers of direct military confrontation (as opposed to confrontation through client proxies like Kashmiri Muslim militants) between nuclear-armed states on the Subcontinent.
Both the elected government of Manmohan Singh and the military government of Musharraf are essentially rational actors. Both represent secular interests and have as their principal domestic opposition more religious parties--the Islamic fundamentalists in Pakistan, and the BJP Hindu fundamentalists in India--and both are dependent on integration into the world market for economic stability as a centerpiece of maintaining their regimes. It is in the direct political interest of neither the Musharraf junta nor the Congress Party to engage in any more saber-rattling than is absolutely necessary to avoid charges of being weak in standing up to the adversary across the border; both have numerous foreign and domestic policy incentives to de-escalate tensions on the Subcontinent besides US interventionist stances.
Your conjecture, by the way, that Osama bin Laden would be struck in a nuclear attack as a helpful collateral casualty to the deaths of millions of Pakistani civilians is as uninformed as it is morally appalling. In fact, the odds that bin Laden may be found in an urban center such as Karachi or Islamabad is pretty slim; he's out in the periphery somewhere. Millions of Pakistanis who have done no one any wrong would die; a billionaire fugitive would almost certainly escape.

War is alright but What will India get by Nuking an already dying country?
Pakistan is moving towards disintegration once again. Today every state of pakistan is burning. Balauchistan which covers 50% of pakistan wants freedom, Waziristan wants freedom, Sindhis want freedom ...Pakistan is moving towards Civil war with every passing day. What will left after this disintegration? Just One state Punjab...Do you think India needs to Nuke Pakistan? Let it die its own natural death! and Let India move towards prosperity because now whole world sees India as future economic super power.

Only if you personally swallow all of the nuclear fallout that will fill the atmosphere afterwards. Are you nuts? I don't want any nukes going off ANYWHERE. I am at a 7% elevated risk of cancer because of the atomic testing and the resultant fallout downwind in the USA during the 20th century - I don't want any more!!!

with the aid of political stability and intentions of those different countries as unfavourable to North Korea. comparable to Iran. it rather is one element to have a nuclear application and circulate approximately your employer with sound coverage in a to blame way, and extremely yet another to be threatening different countries existance while coming up a application. For Iran to call for the annihilation of Israel after which circulate nuke procuring and for North Korea to be insisting upon re-unification with South Korea for fifty years in the process the truce and do an identical; are the two ignorant strategical blunders.

Nuke? Man don't be idiotic. Pakistan has nukes too. Do you want to create millions of acres of land with no people on it? India also has a large number of muslims in it. Do you want to create a civil war inside of India. I am of Indian heritage, and you are an idiot for even suggesting this.
