Did anyone else catch Ted Koppel's documentary? It aired on the discovery channel on Sunday, Sept. 10th.........what did you think of it?

Eric Baker; Yes! I thought it was an interesting point raised that without security, the pursuit of civil liberties becomes a moot point...that is yet another cost in the interest of security. So...should we give up some civil liberties and/or does govt. have the right to curtail some liberties in order to protect us?

ilarry; Yes! That was yet another good comment made that if we are at war then EVERYONE needs to be at war.......not just a few people charged to die on our behalf........

Each one of us is gonna hafta make up his/her mind and use whatever method(s) necessary to ensure our security. I've already given years of my life to be secure. How about you? How about all the people Koppel reached on TV? I believe it's time for "EVERYBODY" to pay some dues to achieve it."

What do I think the price of security is?... About $953 installed and $35 a month.

I saw it. It was very interesting, and it raised alot of good points. Ben Franklin once said, "Those who give up personal freedoms for security, deserve neither personal freedoms or security."

sorry i did not see it,, the price of security for me though is 2 dollars(three condoms)it makes me feel safe..
