Yes, people are mean, in general.
I have to admit, the answers I have gotten so far on my last question were surprisingly nice and trying to be helpful.

Well I asked two questions for the first time today and I must say everyone was really supportive, I was totally impressed and am so thankful. I'm sorry if anyone was mean to you, I promise not to be that way. I think this is a really cool place and either I try to be funny or really give good advice. Don't pout you will get some good answers...there are some fabulous people here.

Some questions are ok, but some seem so made up that they are just getting off and getting nasty answers. I think that serious questions should be answered seriously and with respect, other question are just for fun and looking for come backs. Both ok. But yeas I do agree that there are mean responses to actual questions that need good advice.

Its easy for people to be harsh to other where there isn't face to face interaction...I don't think people are this mean in "real" life. It seems like people become tough when their not facing the actual person...it really sure how insecure most people are.
So I wouldn't take it personal.

Well dear i have to agree with you that alot of PPL are mean and using nasty ways to hurt each other,BUT i like to look at the bright side of that, i mean i learned how to forgive and forget, and trying to live each day happily and looking forward for my future. so yeah i hope you do the same dear

I think, asking for help will not upset others. Its bcos, only those who are interested going to respond to ur asked help. so, nothing to worry on that

most people on here are not mean they are just frustrated with the same stupid questions being ask , so we answer with a smart *** answer or a mean answer
