Sure it'll go down to $2.00 and lower as soon as ethanol based fuels become readily available. BUT these will now cost $3.00 per gallon and regular gas will fall. You can never win.

Definately wishful thinking. And seriously, the world is better off if gas isn't as cheap as $2/gal.

I still remember when I used to fill up my tank with $20.00 dollars. Now It's sad to say it but I fill it up with $70.00 dollars. I just think it's so ridicules don't quiet understand why they keep on putting the price on gas so high. One thing I do know is that somebody keeps on getting richer and richer each day. They know we need our car's to get to work or take the kids to school just about any wear. So they really don't care because regardless of the prices we will get gas. But I really hope the price for gas goes down and stays down.....

I can remember only a few years ago, when I was in college in Indiana, gas prices hit 69 cents/gallon. Man, those were the days!!

If you mean $2 per gallon, and in the US, then I'd say that just is NOT going to happen. Now way, no how.
Now, if you mean 2 Canadian dollars per liter, that might happen, but that's going up, not down.

very wishful the only reason they are lowering it now is it is voting time and they don't want us to think their bad people but hard working on the big issues and blah blah bullshit :)
