The media constanly plays audio and video clips a week before and after. I don't think people have paid much attention ther fact that they are forced to re-live this event every 365 days.

you are so right. its really sad but we must move on for the victims family . believe me we won't forget as a country but we need to let these people rest in peace. and for people like me that have sorrowful birthdays each year because we share or birthday with one of the awful events of the year.

i'm not sure how the families feel and my deepest sympathies still goes out to all of the families that were affected by september 11, 2001.

i think it is our duty as a country to honor the families every year. i also think that this is a historic event that the media will continue to cover. what i'm not sure of is how the families feel about the media coverage. it has to be hard for them but at the same time, i'm sure they don't want the nation to "forget" what happened to their loved ones.

just this morning i was driving the work and heard actual footage for the first time in a few years. that same feeling i had on 11 sept 2001 came back and i cried the whole way to work. i didn't lose a family member that day but as an american i was affected.

Think I understand the point you are trying to make.

These people are just like anyone else who has lost a loved one by whatever means - the hurt and loss is the same.

The media seem to think less they remind us, we have memory loss but you must realize they sell by sensationalism.

This was an attack on our country, so it is felt as a different tragedy.
While the real tragedy is that it took something so hard to wake many of us up to our freedoms.

America has been greatly blessed and its people as well.
Granted we may not always agree but we are one country.

Jealousy is the beginning factor of the attackers actions.

How we respond - is what represents who we are!

I seriously doubt they sit by the tv and watch the towers falling - knowing that that is the moment they lost their dad or mom... How sad - to lose a family member in a national tragedy.

I can't even imagine what they feel.

God bless us all -- the world (not just the USA) lost many people in that cowardly attack.

I don't think they relive it, but I think they think of their loved one(s) everyday and don't hesitate to miss them.
