A mate of mine is panicking because he's just got a job as a trainee accountant, and they want to put him on the course(s) to become chartered a little down the line.
Now, this wouldn't be a problem normally, but he wasn't exactly truthful about the grades he got at A Level when applying for the job. The funny thing is, he says the company he applied to work at weren't actually too bothered about the grades, as long as they were passes in the right subjects and he gave a good interview, which he clearly did.
My question is this, will the companies which run the qualifications for accountancy require him to submit proof of his A Level grades (as there is a minimum requirement) or will they not bother as he's going through a company and not applying direct?
Any help would be appreciated as I haven't got a clue about this sort of stuff.
