We were in traffic jams due to road works on the A40 for 1 hr at the weekend. I've since discovered that it's one of the top 5 road works in the country. We're thinking of planning a trip so that we can take in the rest of the top 5! What d'ya reckon?

Tried to do this a few years ago, but had to give up at the first jam when my car got smashed up, because the car behind me in the queue suddenly surged forward at max power. The driver explained that he'd got so bored that he'd decided to see whether he could drive with his legs crossed!

Personally I would try to think of somthing a bit more exciting to do with my life, I'd like to lie on my death bed feeling proud of what I'd done with my life - It would be rather sad if I was laying there thinking of the 4863 cones that I saw once on the M6 surface relaying roadworks.

Why??
Don't do it!!!! Choose the back roads instead and enjoy the scenery. At least any traffic hold ups will be due to sheep and cows! Which almost smell as bad!!

I thought I was sad, but why not, take plenty petrol because if you is stopped with the engine running that is 0 mpg
