After plunging and snaking your toilet, if it is still slow flushing, there is one other highly likely culprit. If this is your own home, you can check it out yourself. It is the vent pipe. Often, birds' nest, leaves and other debris will clog the vent and cause slow flushing toilets. Check the link below -- it will show you where the vent is located in relation to your toilet (it is on the roof, so if you have a fear of heights, you might want to leave this for the plumber after all!!). Anyway, see if you can get up there and find out if there is an easily removable blockage.
Good luck and hope this helps. Has worked for a few other folks on here I recommended this to, as well as my mother!

Here is what I do.. I take a plunger.. and assuming that there is water remaining in the toilet bowl.. I PLUNGE and Plunge and PLUNGE.. You might be surprised at what will come up.. If a lot of junk comes up, you might not need a plumber.. HOPEFULLY NOT..
If you still have problems, there is nothing you can do UNLESS you have a plumber's snake(and know how to use it) and go on the outside of the house(that is what a plumber would do) and open up the black valve(forget what you call it) open it and use the snake on the inside after you open the cap.

most of the loos that have been offered are merely undeniable undesirable layout. I had a chum who had a form of, and you be attentive to those: those are those you will get from a house progression middle for $one hundred for the tank and bowl, generally noted as "builders specials". they are low-fee yet they do no longer artwork. besides, we ripped out this undesirable one my buddy had, the single the place the water merely went around and around and around and around and around and ultimately merely slowed to a provide up. We put in an American widely used Champion and the version substitute into like night and day. no longer in basic terms that, yet when I asked the way it substitute into working one twelve months later and if it had ever clogged the respond substitute into "We threw out the plunger". a form of fee approximately $2 hundred for the tank and bowl, yet they artwork. you will possibly be low-fee and pay $one hundred for a low-fee lavatory, yet it extremely is money wasted. Rip out the lavatory you have have been given and put in a sturdy one. those you have have been given now are low-fee ones and merely no sturdy, and subsequently they do what they do. Odds are those you have have been given have been made in Mexico, and is the reason a lot.

ONE WORD............BLEACH! ABOUT HALF A GALLON OF CLOROX SHOULD DO IT.. IT HELPS BREAK UP "WHATEVER" MAY BE IN THERE! WE USE IT AT OUR HOUSE AND IT USUALLY CLEARS UP THE SLOW GOING TOILET PROBLEM. MAY HAVE TO DO IT TWICE. POUR IT IN AND FLUSH. THEN REPEAT IF NECESSARY. BLEACH IS LOTS CHEAPER THAN A FLIPPIN' PLUMBER!!
