Technically the Age of Aquarius doesn't begin until the year 2600.

"In 1928, at the Conference of the International Astronomical Union (IAU) in Leiden, the Netherlands, the edges of the 88 official constellations became defined in astronomical terms. The edge established between Pisces and Aquarius locates the beginning of the Aquarian Age around the year 2600"

So the song is right... it's the dawning of the age but not the age itself. I guess.

An Age can take a long time. I would say we are since we are still developing technologies and trying to build new colonies in space. The next Age is Capricorn (it moves counter-clockwise), which makes me think that we are soon in that era. Capricorn is about business and the use of resources. There is a global economy now and a lot of talk about resources. Life should get a lot more boring when the age of Capricorn hits since it's not the most exciting sign.

Depends on who you believe? Some say it started in 1998 when Neptune and Uranus went into Aquarius. Some say it's 2012 when the Mayan calender changes. I believe were on the cusp which means were close. Since astronomers declassified Pluto (cause they have some dark stuff of their own that they don't wanna deal with) I tend to not trust anyone who won't deal with their stuff. Pluto handles what absolutely has to happen. One thing that has to happen is religions need to stop starting wars. As long as the blind are lead by the blind we won't move into Aquarius. Its kinda scary like Pluto stuff cause close minded (religions) defiantly don't want to admit they even have(dark stuff) or closed minds, let alone deal with it.

Nope. Have you heard the song?! We're nowhere near that kinda love & peace. ;) I don't think humanity is even capable. We'd probably all commit suicide if we had to live in such a world. :P

No. Ever since Pluto got demoted, it's screwed up all of the Astrological symmetry.
